We know that the parenting journey is one filled with highs and lows, and change at every step of the journey. Cuidiú Dublin South East offers a number of supports to help you with your parenting journey, from meeting other parents at a similar stage to you at our Coffee Mornings and Playgroups to one-to-one parent support from trained Parent Supporters.
Parent Supporters
Parent Supporters are parents trained with communication, facilitation & counselling skills (but are not actual counsellors). They can provide a listening ear and support for anyone who would like to talk in confidence about the ups and downs of parenting. Parent Support Coffee Mornings
Bumps, Babes and Beyond
Cuidiú DSE hosts Parent Support Coffee Mornings twice a month on Thursday Mornings, from 10am to 12pm. These support mornings are hosted in a volunteer’s home throughout South County Dublin, and occasionally in Coffee Shops. Our Parent Support Coffee Mornings provide a welcoming, supportive environment for parents as they navigate their parenthood journey. They offer a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents in a relaxed environment and benefit from peer support.

Online Support Evening
Bumps, Babes and Beyond
Hosted one evening a month, our Online Bumps, Babes and Beyond is a lovely, welcoming space for peer to peer support, from the comfort of your own home. Dial in and chat with other parents and expectant parents from Dublin South East and around the country. Babies, toddlers and children of all ages are welcome to meet and chat. Foxrock Playgroup
Cuidiú DSE Hosts a playgroup in Foxrock Pastoral Parish Centre every Friday Morning during Term time from 10am to 12pm. This Playgroup is a fantastic opportunity to meet other parents or carers and chat over a coffee and biscuit while your little people a chance to play, explore and make friends. Peer to Peer Support WhatsApp Group
Members only
Cuidiú DSE Members get access to a supportive network of peers through a members-only WhatsApp group. If you’re already a member, but don’t have access please do get in touch with our membership secretary on cuidiudsemember@gmail.com.
Standalone Events
Over the course of the year we try to host additional events catering to particular stages of parenting or seasonal events. These range from meet-ups out in nature, to online and in person events with Parenting Experts or Birth Reflection Evenings. These events will be listed on our Upcoming Events.
Library Materials
