Breastfeeding workshop-The Early Days- 9th January 2019*Cancelled*

Liz McGovern Cuidiú BFC and IBCLC Lactation consultant will facilitate this ever-popular workshop.

This workshop is a great resource for breastfeeding Moms in your early days and weeks of breastfeeding It is suitable for first time Moms, second time around Moms and fifth time Moms ;-).
Some of the topics covered
– Baby’s attachement and latch at breast
– Setting up your milk supply
– Understanding newborn behaviour
As always, there will be lots of time for questions, and a cuppa. Babes in arms welcome.

Antenatal breastfeeding workshop – 11th December

Cuidiú Dublin South East Advanced Breastfeeding Counsellor Grainne Gallwey will facilitate this workshop

This workshop is ideal for pregnant mamas-to-be. Topics covered will include:
– normal newborn behaviour
– what to expect in the early days of breastfeeding
– baba’s positioning and latch at the breast
– establishing your milk supply.

Time will be allowed for questions and answers, and as always a cuppa and some chatter.

Paediatric First Aid Course-Cuidiu DSE-19th November 2018

Cuidiú Dublin South East is excited to bring you a special opportunity to attend a First Aid course specifically designed for Parents and Carers of young children.

This course is delivered by Siobhan Butler from First Aid for Everyone, who developed it so that you can learn effectively how to deal with the most life threatening medical emergencies in children and infants. Topics covered include CPR, choking and meningitis. Key points like calling the emergency services, First Aid kit, burns, head injuries as well as temperature control will also be discussed.
